Erick van Egeraat’s design for the Glinki Moika redevelopment in St. Petersburg has been presented during the IX International Economic Forum, held in St. Petersburg from 8-10 of June. The project was included in an exhibition on ‘Modern Architecture’ on the Lenexpo fair grounds which featured as well projects by Norman Foster and others.
Furthermore, Erick van Egeraat participated in the round table discussion, moderated by Peter Schmal, director of the Deutsches Architekturmuseum Frankfurt, together with Norman Foster and Kisho Kurokawa. Topic of the panel was ‘new architecture in landmark cities’.
The IX International Economic Forum was held with the support and participation of the President of the Russian Federation. This annual Forum gathers world leaders to discuss important issues facing Russia and the world community. Presidents, governmental ministers, leaders of parliaments, and representatives of international businesses were among the several thousand participants who took part in this year’s edition.
