The A.A. Hijmans van den Bergh medical faculty designed by Erick van Egeraat has been awarded with the 2007 Rietveldprize. The biannual Dutch “Rietveldprijs” honours the best new building in City of Utrecht. For the first time in its history the jury has awarded two winners. The other laureate is the “Forum Het Zand” school building by Venhoeven CS architects. The official award ceremony will be held on 27 January 2008. At this event, the winner of the public’s choice award will be announced.
