Design Philosophy
The EEA philosophy is to provide architectural solutions that strike a visionary architectural balance between analysis, context and concept, structure and sensibility or even sensuality.
As Erick van Egeraat says: “My work relates to the cultural and the historical context as a source of meaning… In this respect I am trying not to state, but to relate. Trying not to consider, but to seduce and to make things beloved. Thus, I hope to create a sensual and intuitive architecture… an architecture, which corresponds to a known language with new, emerging sensations.”
After having led the realisation of over 100 projects in more than eight countries during his 25 years of practice, Erick van Egeraat currently has more than 20 projects in progress and remains firmly focused upon further growth and expansion.
Erick van Egeraat envisages an architectural future in which the dominant reductive avant-garde architectural philosophy prevalent today is superceded by a new paradigm of complexity and richness.
To drive this new paradigm Erick van Egeraat will continue to craft, define and refine unique architectural visions that give voice to each and every client’s individual personality, character, image, style and future ambition.
